We’re thankful for you!

Dear friends of CASA of Cook County,
It’s that time of year when we reflect on all we are thankful for, and at CASA of Cook County, we are most thankful for you–our mission partners!
It’s only because of you that despite the ongoing global pandemic, we are serving more than 650 children in foster care and changing the story for these children from trauma to hope for the future.
Over the last year we have sworn in 158 new CASA volunteers, and we welcome each of them with gratitude! Our CASA volunteers are the heart of our program. They are fierce and tenacious advocates for children. Thank you!
We were blown away by how our community rallied around us to support our second virtual Fundraiser! With your support we exceeded our goal for our Giving Back to the Future event, which ensures we will have critical funding to sustain services
for the children court appointed to CASA of Cook County.
We especially want to express our gratitude to our CASA volunteers who led Giving Back to the Future Teams. These amazing volunteers went above and beyond in their service to children to also harness their communities to raise awareness and funds for CASA. Our teams raised over $50,000, which ensured that we met and surpassed our goal. Thank you!
Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving,
Bonita Carr, Ed.D.
Executive Director
