I will be sworn in as a CASA volunteer on November 2nd! I hope to help raise enough funds to recruit and train a few more CASA volunteers for an even greater impact for the many, many children who are in the Cook County foster care system.

CASA of Cook County’s amazing 300+ volunteers are doing even more for the children they serve—they are banding together to become a Giving Back to the Future Team and raising money to ensure CASA can serve every one of the 600+ children assigned to CASA today, and many thousands more in the future.
CASA volunteers are literally changing the future for children and youth in foster care. But one thing is missing—YOU! It costs CASA of Cook County $2,500 to serve a child for one year—versus the tens of thousands of dollars spent by the child welfare system. Those funds ensure CASA has the wrap-around staff to train and support volunteers so they can provide the very best trauma-informed, culturally relevant advocacy for a child.
