My name is Michael Hernandez and I’m running my first marathon at the 2025 Chicago Marathon this October for CASA of Cook County. I was a Court Appointed Special Advocate with CASA of Central Texas, so I’ve seen first hand how this organization plays an important role and is able to change the lives of abused and neglected children in the foster system. That’s why I’m running to raise funds and awareness on Team CASA.
