My two greatest passions are running and mental health. I have been a runner for 10+ years now and a mental health professional for nearly five. In my work, I have witnessed the impact that early support can have on the trajectory of one’s life, and when I heard about CASA’s devotion to children in the foster care system, I knew that I wanted to run with Team CASA. CASA volunteers play a vital role in advocating for the best interests of these vulnerable children, ensuring they have a voice in court proceedings and receive the support they need to thrive. By participating in this marathon, I aim to raise awareness and funds to support CASA’s mission of providing a caring adult advocate for every child in need. Every step I take is a testament to my commitment to making a difference in the lives of these children, giving them hope for a brighter future.
