I am running the Chicago Marathon to support the organization CASA of Cook Country. Casa (Court Appointed Special Advocates) has a mission of providing advocacy for foster children, ensuring their needs are met and rights are protected. They also help with the transition out of foster care into permanent, safe, and loving homes as quickly as possible. They provide services for youth aging out of foster care to have the resources to live independently.
