Jessica O’Neill

I am proud to be running the Chicago Marathon as a member of Team CASA! Through my career at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, I have had the privilege of advocating for children within the foster care system. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the vital role that CASA plays in ensuring every child has a consistent, caring adult fighting for their best interests. I am running to raise awareness and critical funds for CASA’s work—because every child deserves to be heard, to feel safe, and to know they matter. This cause is close to my heart, and I hope to make a meaningful impact by helping increase access to dedicated advocates and essential support services. On a personal level, this journey is also for my own children—to show them that with commitment, resilience, and purpose, anything is possible. Taking on the physical and mental challenge of a marathon is something I embrace wholeheartedly, especially when it supports a mission I believe in so strongly.
