I am running with Team CASA first and foremost because I believe in the mission and vision of the organization. My mom was a CASA in Tarrant Country (Texas) for 5 years, and I saw the hard work that goes into it and the direct impact she had on kids. I am inspired by her. I want to raise awareness for this incredible organization and help children in the foster care system live the lives they deserve.
