I am thrilled to be running the Chicago Marathon for Team CASA Cook County! As a medical student in the Chicago area, I have seen firsthand how organizations like CASA can make a profound difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. Advocacy has always been at the heart of my approach to patient care, and I strongly believe that having a safe and supportive environment is just as crucial as physical health.
I am pursuing a career in emergency medicine and plan to stay in Chicago to continue serving this incredible community. Running my first marathon in support of CASA—a cause that aligns so closely with my passion for advocacy and social support—is an honor. I can’t wait to take on this challenge and make an impact both on and off the racecourse.
