During my time as a student at Indiana University-Bloomington, I was fortunate to work with CASA Monroe County as a Student Board Representative in order to facilitate connection between the local CASA community and IU student body. Through this experience, I saw first had the tangible effects that CASA has on the children and communities it serves. Since moving to Chicago in 2022, I have been searching for a way to partner with CASA Cook County and the 2024 Chicago Marathon seems like the perfect way to do something I love for an organization that I love. I look forward to challenging myself with this marathon in order to serve the children that CASA supports!
