Hi! My name is Grace and I am a Kindergarten teacher on the West side of Chicago. After school, I have a fitness club for 1st-3rd graders and coach 5th/6th grade Cross County. I am a fierce believer that every child deserves to have at least one incredible, positive role model in their life that supports their basic needs and encourages them to pursue education and make healthy life choices. I am running for Team CASA this year because I want to raise awareness and funds for the most vulnerable individuals in Chicago–children in the Cook County foster care system who have experienced abuse and/or neglect. I feel so blessed to be able to run the marathon with such an incredible organization!
