Catherine Chou

As a BIPOC healthcare provider in the public system and in a field with a high pediatric population, I am fortunate to meet people from all walks of life and appreciate always what I learn about the social inequalities and injustices they face. CASA has a special place in my heart, as I have witnessed first-hand the impacts that foster care systems have had on both the patients I work with and the colleagues I work alongside. I am excited to increase awareness for CASA’s mission and to raise money to support a child in the foster care system this coming year. I am grateful also for my college sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, for having brought my attention to CASA through partnership with their foundation.
