Bank of America CHICAGO MARATHON

Brigette Atcheson-Demke

I’m Chicagoland born and raised, and I’ve been running for about 12 years, from a time when I couldn’t run even a single mile at a time. I got into endurance after moving into the city, and training for the marathon in 2020 kept me going. I first heard about CASA in a radio ad and volunteered for a couple of years, which showed me firsthand how much demand there is for the services CASA provides and the difference that CASA makes for the children and families they serve.
