This will be my second time participating in the Chicago Marathon. When I was looking at different organizations to reach out to, I wanted to be sure it was one that has special meaning. My wife and I have been foster parents for close to 10 years. We’ve had two different placements, both were siblings. The most recent one ended with us adopting two energetic and amazing brothers. I’m all for supporting any organization that works to support children and families in foster care.
