As we quickly approach the end of this year CASA sends you well wishes in this holiday season. We thank you for remembering the children served by CASA; toddlers, teens, those with special medical needs. It costs $1200 annually for a CASA volunteer to advocate for an abused and neglected child in foster care and with your generous contribution towards CASA’s Child Advocacy Program, CASA can reach the more than 4,600 children in foster care who are still waiting for a voice!

Do you know an everyday hero who battles overwhelming obstacles in the face of adversity? Someone who rises above those challenges to stand up for children? CASA of Cook County will honor such an individual from our community whose efforts align with the mission of CASA, on October 5, 2010 at our 4th Annual Cocktails for CASA event. Participate in this self-nomination process to help us to pay tribute to an un-song hero and champion for children whose work most reflects and embodies the spirit of CASA.
