Nominate an Everyday Hero for the 2011 CASA of Cook County Spirit Award!
Everyday heroes are individuals and organizations who break through obstacles to
make an impact in the lives of children. Those who are aligned with CASA’s
mission and make our community a better place by creating long term positive
change for vulnerable children will be presented with the 2011 CASA Spirit Award
on October 13, 2011 at CASA’s 25th Anniversary celebration. This year CASA is
excited to honor THREE award winners: a CASA volunteer Advocate; a local
community star and a corporate leader who demonstrates innovation and
inclusiveness to advocate for children.
If you fight for improvement in the lives of children and believe that all children
deserve a safe and permanent home, then nominate yourself OR someone else in one of the three categories.
· Download and complete the 2011 CASA Spirit Award Nomination Form
· Include a maximum two-page description of how the nominee’s involvement with youth aligns with CASA’s mission.
· Provide any additional supporting materials.

of CASA’s 2011 Spirit Award will be announced by September 9, 2011.

When you donate now to CASA of Cook County, a contribution of equal value comes from the challenge grant to effectively double the impact of your gift.

It costs $1200 annually for a CASA volunteer to advocate for an abused and neglected child in foster care. With your contribution CASA can reach the more than 4,600 children in foster care who are still waiting for a voice!
